Wilma Jean Ashley, age 69, of Glenwood (formerly of Arkadelphia) passed from this life on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Arkansas Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. She was born on August 7, 1942 in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late Fletcher M. and Esther Woods Cooley. Wilma worked in retail sales and was a Methodist. She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, one son, Richard Ashley, one daughter, Melinda Ashley, one grandchild, Jeremy Bosley and one great grandchild, Brandon Bosley. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carroll Jackson officiating. No visitation is planned.
