Willie Glen Dowdle, age 78, of Delight, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born March 22, 1937 in Okolona, the daughter of the late Doyle Virgil and Nancy Jane Stockton Howard. Willie was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Delight. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, yard work and most of all her grandchildren. Willie was preceded in death by one son, David Dowdle, one sister, Evelyn Sue Roberts, two brothers, Tommy and Felix Howard.

Survivors are her husband, Gerald Dowdle, two sons, Donald Wayne (Debra) Dowdle of Eureka Springs, and Danny Dowdle of Delight, one brother, Doyle Howard of Delight, one sister, Helen Stell of Delight, eight grandchildren, Dustin, Devin, Chase, Zachary, Courtney, Alex, Johnathan and Andrea, and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 11, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Delight with Rev. Verlon Wood officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Delight Cemetery.
