Obituary

William Allen Walker Sr. "Pop", of Gurdon, Arkansas, passed away at home and went to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on September 9, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas, William lived a life marked by hard work, faith, and a deep love for his family and the outdoors. He was a
proud retiree of the Little Rock Road and Bridge Department and found joy in serving his community through volunteer work at the Harvest House. His life was transformed in 2014 when his son, Beau, led him to the Lord at New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, Arkansas. He was later baptized in 2021 at The Way Church in Gurdon, Arkansas, where he was a member. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors—but his greatest joy was being surrounded by his family. William was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Judy Walker; his sisters, Patricia Walker and Shelia Kay; and his nephew, E.J. Becker.

He is survived by his children, Beau (Alicia) Walker and Samantha (Paul) Robinson; his brothers, T.J. (Mae) Walker and Clint (Jasmine) Walker; his sister, Kathy (Don) Oden; and his cousin, Vannisa Edwards. His grandchildren: Chrisauna Walker, Skylar (Zoie) Walker, Jourdan Walker, Keaton Walker, Mia Walker, Ethan Robinson, Bentley Robinson, and Jacen Walker; and great- grandchildren: Bosstin Allen, Brynnlee Jo Walker, and Bailey Walker. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, including Gabrielle (Kevin) Jablonski, Minor Jablonski, Everleigh Jablonski, Walker Jablonski, Dean (Halley) Parrish,
Hadlee Parrish, Levi Parrish, Kenslyee Parrish, Blakelee Parrish, Ellie Parrish, Jeremiah Walker, Carson Walker, and Mackenzie Becker—as well as a host of other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
