William Carol Malcom age 72 of Arkadelphia passed from this life on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born March 23, 1939 in Arkadelphia the son of the late Paul and Lillian Shepherd Malcom. William was retired from Southern Ice Company, a member of Red "A" Hunting Club and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother Charles Malcom. William is survived by two brothers Ricky and Jimmy (Charlotte) Malcom both of Arkadelphia, five sisters Debbie (The late Neal) Wade, Cathy (The late Terry) Reynolds, Betty (Lonnie) Harkness, Geanetta (Arnold) Banks and Joyce (Ray) Heritage all of Arkadelphia, nine nieces and five nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Don Gates officiating. Interment in Richland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Welch Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Richard Harkness, Kirk Hudspeth, Pee Wee Strother, Bruce White, Randall Young and Curtis Breshears.
