William B. Hasley, age 68, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his home. He was born on May 12, 1941 in Clark County, the son of the late Dillard William and Mary Dale Glover Hasley. William worked as a parts manager for Chevrolet dealerships and worked for Fafnir Bearings Plant. He was a member of Third Street Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents William was preceded in death by his brother, Huie Hasley.

William is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mae Alice Hasley, two sons, Jeffrey Hasley and fianc , Niki, of Arkadelphia and Dillard Hasley and wife, Beth, of Bryant, two daughters, Michelle Brown and husband, Jimmy, of Arkadelphia and Gina Fuell and husband, Joey, of Malvern, three brothers, Eddie, Ricky and Wayne Hasley, one sister, Diane Burson, four grandchildren, Anneliesa, Justin, Andrea and Scarlett, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Third Street Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Brewer and Rev. Greg Lathem officiating. Interment will be in Richwoods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Welch Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Perry Schieffer, Matt Waindel, Justin Hasley, Brad Hasley, Larry Patterson, Jr., Phillip Halliday, James Rogers and David Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Dorman, George Brewer, Larry Patterson, Sr., Chace Peeler, Ron Young, Mike Cazort, James Malcom and Don Rogers.
