William "Bud" Arnold age 68 of Arkadelphia passed from this life on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at his home. He was born May 8, 1945 in Arkadelphia the son of the late William Clifton and Opal Faye Malcom Arnold. Bud was a retired farmer and a member of First Baptist Church of Curtis. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandy Arnold. Bud is survived by one son, Chris (Stacy) Arnold of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Shelley (Brett) Alvine of Crowley, TX, one step son, Kevin (Kim) Waldrum of El Dorado, one step daughter, Tina (Johnny) Embry of Camden, two sisters, Patsy Currey of Gurdon and Linda Bland of Americus, GA, eleven grandchildren, Samantha, Lewis, Colton, Tessa, Carley, Christopher, Clayton, Jackson, Chase, Cole and Ethan. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home with Revs. Chad Cox and Greg Lathem officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brett Alvine, David Chitwood, Patrick Wright, Dusty Currey, Barry Francis and Lee House. Honorary pallbearer is Danny Joe Summerhill.
