Bonnie Virginia Strother, age 80, of Donaldson, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born in Cumberland County, TN on December 23, 1934, the daughter of the late Robert Dan and Ida Davis Boles. Virginia was a homemaker and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, James Strother and two brothers, Lloyd and George "Buddy" Boles. She is survived by one daughter, Maria (John) Hillsbery of Desloge, MO, three sons, James Mike Strother of Donaldson, Nick (Gloria) Strother of Vandervoort and Luke Strother of Malvern, one sister, Shirley Hodge of Murfreesboro, one brother, Cordell Boles of Friendship, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Hollis McDermott officiating. Interment will be in Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers are Jared Strother, Kevin Strother, Jordan Strother, Brian Strother, Daniel Strother and Jeremy Ring.
