Virginia Celestine (Les) Proctor Hefner, age 80, of Little Rock died on Friday, January 26, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on May 13, 1926 in Wynne, the daughter of the late Herbert and Laura Lee Best Proctor. Virginia worked for years as an insurance adjuster with Marsh-McClennan Insurance Company and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Everett Proctor, Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Sybil Hoover, of Arkadelphia, one son, Charles (Chuck) Hefner of Hot Springs, one sister, Jerre Toll and her husband, Larry, of Little Rock, six grandchildren, Christy & Jamie Broyles and Philip, David, Andy & Marcus Hefner, four great-grandchildren, Aaron, Abbie, Billie & Charlie, and several nieces & nephews. She will be greatly missed by not only her family, but also her dear friends, and a special friend, Ms. Pam Dennis and her family of Little Rock. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Little Rock.
