Virginia Louise (Banks) Brewer, age 79, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at her home.  She was born November 18, 1941, in Hot Springs, the daughter of the late Arnold Earnest and Helen Earline Averett Banks.  Louise was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School and attended Ouachita Baptist University.  She was a former secretary at Oberman's Manufacturing and a housewife.  Louise was a member of Third Street Baptist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, writing Christian poem's, arranging and planting flowers in her free time.  Louise was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Charles Larry Banks.

Survivors are her husband of sixty years, George P. Brewer, Sr. of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Rhonda LeAnne Thomason (Jeff) of Benton, one son, George Pearson Brewer, Jr., (Melissa) of Smackover, one brother, Gene Banks, Sr. (Patricia) of Arkadelphia, three grandchildren, Brock Brewer (Haley), Ashley Brewer Wheelhouse (Ryan) and Jacob Thomason, one great grandchild, Jett Thomason, one nephew, Gene Banks, Jr. (Stephanie), and one grand nephew, Tyler Banks.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Richland Cemetery with Bro. Jeremy Bell officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:30 to 12:30 PM Wednesday at Welch Funeral Home.
