Timothy Wayne Downs, age 50, of Camden, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at his home. He was born November 17, 1956 in Little Rock, the son of Bobby & Jacqueline Green Downs. Tim was a graduate of Gurdon High School, a heavy equipment operator, a member of the Methodist church and a United States Air Force veteran. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Pipkin and her husband, Glen of Camden, a son, Luke Downs of Oklahoma, a sister, Diane Downs Newton and her husband, Chris of South Carolina, and two grandchildren, Kallie Marie and Melanie Ann Pipkin of Camden. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Rev. Daniel Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphia.
