Sunny Joan Murray, age 79, of Arkadelphia passed from this life on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Twin Rivers Health & Rehabilitation in Arkadelphia. She was born on January 23, 1940 in England, AR, the daughter of the late Thomas Hoyle and Annie Archer Epperson. Sunny was a retired administrator with the USDA. She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Sunny was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne Pierce Murray, one infant son Michael Wayne Murray and three sisters, Betty Huniu, Judy Wilkins and Geraldine Bradshaw.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Chapman (Greg) of Arkadelphia and Kristy Simmons (Jerry) of Arkadelphia, Seven grandchildren, Three great-grandchildren and two brothers, E H Epperson (Shirley) of North Little Rock and Thomas Epperson (Susan) of Sherwood.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood with Bro Jeff Krisell officiating.
