Sue Sligh Howard, age 81, of Deatsville, AL, passed from this life on Friday, January 22, 2021, at her home.  She was born March 14, 1939, in Amity, the daughter the late Walter Lee and Clara Bean Sligh.  Sue was an officer manager for a dental office for many years.  She enjoyed sewing and crafts in her free time.  Sue was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Waldo Sligh, two sisters, Mary McAnally and Bertie Fay Neel.

Survivors are her husband, John Howard of Deatsville, AL, one son, Phillip Howard of Hoover, AL, and one sister, Wanda Thomason of Amity.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2021 at Jones Cemetery at Amity with Rev. David Blase officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:30 -2:00 PM at the cemetery on Friday.
