Steven Edward Pittman, age 60, of Amity, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs. He was born on November 3, 1953 in Alpine, the son of Kenneth and Orene Smith Pittman. Steven was a maintenance worker and a member of Sweet Home Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father. Steven is survived by his wife, Sandra Pittman, two sons, Loyd (Angela) Pittman of Alpine and Luke (Alesia) Pittman of Little Rock, one daughter, Lindsay Forrest of Amity, his mother, Orene Pittman of Alpine, two step-daughters, Rebecca Nedrow and Amanda Puckett of Hot Springs, three brothers, Phillip Pittman of Little Rock, David Pittman of Royse City, TX and Paul Pittman of Alpine, one sister, Elaine Funderburk of Alpine and eight grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Alpine Cemetery, with Bro. Derrick Barnes officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at the family's home at 81 Pittman Road in Amity. Pallbearers will be Alan, Eric and Josh Pittman, Nickolas and Blaine Funderburk and Ron Young.
