Sideny "Sue" Fairchild, age 75, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, August 11, 2025, at CHI St. Vincent Medical Center in Hot Springs.  She was born October 4, 1949, in Little Rock, the daughter of the late Sidney and Leota Palmer McLeod.  Sue was a 1967 graduate of Hatley High School in Mississippi.  She was a homemaker and retired plant manager secretary for the Reynolds Corporation.  Sue was a faithful member of Park Hill Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling, studying the bible and most of all spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.  Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Fairchild, two brothers, Johnnie and Paul McLeod.

Survivors are one daughter, Jessica Hill (Randy) of Arkadelphia, one sister, Recia Spencer of Glen Rose, two grandchildren, Claire Hill of Fayetteville, AR and Los Angeles, CA, and Edward Hill of Los Angeles, CA, two great-grandchildren, Alice and Charles Holland both of Fayetteville, AR.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Park Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Craig Seals officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the Church.

Interment will be Private.
