Shirley Ann Loy, age 85, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia.  She was born March 5, 1935, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late Thomas and Eunice Holloway McAnally.  Shirley was the former city clerk for Arkadelphia for seventeen years.  She was a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church.  Shirley enjoyed cooking, homemaking and reading in her free time.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James William Loy, one son, Brad Loy, two daughters, Jamie Loy and Sharon Stinnett, one grandson, Dillon Loy, and five brothers, Willie Lee, Garland, James, Robert and Dale McAnally..

Survivors are one son, Mike Loy (Gayla) of Bismarck, two brothers, Charles McAnally (Zelma) of Arkadelphia, Joe McAnally of Little Rock, one sister, Dorothy Harkrider of Arkadelphia, eight grandchildren, Cassie Cagle, Cody Quillen, Kayla Stockton, Rachel Hudman, Tommy Hughes, Nick Hughes, Rush Loy and Brittany Loy, several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 11, 2020, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is private for family only.
