Shirley Ann Haynie Francis, age 79, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at her home. She was born June 30, 1936 in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late John Doyle and Lona Howell Haynie. Shirley was a retired CNA and cook at CADC in Gurdon. She was a member of Beirne First Baptist Church . Shirley enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Billy Joe Francis, Jr., three sisters, Billie Jean Webb, Sarah Jane Haynie and Sue Haynie, and one brother, Doyle B. Haynie.

Survivors are her husband, Billy Joe Francis, one son, Mark ( Victoria ) Francis of Leslie, AR, one grandchild, Augustus A. Francis of Sheridan .

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Beirne First Baptist Church with Bro. James Blackwood officiating.
