Sheridan Dale Ivy, age 64, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his home. He was born October 4, 1950 in Colton, California, the son of the late William Sheridan and Frances Alice Clark Ivy. Dale attended Henderson State University, enjoyed collecting model cars and studying psychology. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church in Bradford, Arkansas and was an overland truck driver and a draftsman. Dale was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Richard Ivy and one sister, Etha Carolyn Rainwater. Dale is survived by three nieces, Anita Spake of Malvern, Denise (Randy) Heard and Rhonda Ivy both of Donaldson, three nephews, Kevin (Tricia) Maynard of Donaldson, William (Lynn) Ivy of Friendship Ralph Ivy of Donaldson, and several great and great great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Rev. Eli Maynard officiating.
