Scotie Ray Wells, age 51, of Gurdon passed from this life on January 19, 2019 at his home. He was born on April 5, 1967 in Prescott the son of the late James and Wanda Morrison Wells. Scotie was a graduate of Gurdon High School . He was of the Baptist faith. Scotie worked at International Paper/Georgia Pacific and at Henderson State University in the maintenance department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. Scotie was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Jimmy Lyn Wells.

Scotie  is survived by his children, Steven Wells of Harrison and April Dickerson (David) of Gurdon, four grandchildren, Alyssa Nortier, Wesley Dickerson, Jamie Dickerson all of Gurdon and Kaden Wells of Harrison, his niece Kayla Gammage (Jeremy) and nephew Eric Wells (Ashley) all of Gurdon.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday January 23, 2019 at South Fork Cemetery with Bro Donnie Deaton officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Pallbearers are David Dickerson, Wesley Dickerson, Eric Wells, Jeremy Gammage, Gunner Gibson, Ronald Baird.
