Ruth Ann Nix, age 86, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.  She was born June 7, 1932 in Clark County , the daughter of the late Jewel and Eula Dell Tucker Cagle.  Ruth was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church .  She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm her entire life.  Ruth enjoyed cooking and gardening in her free time.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Emmet Nix Jr., two sisters, Maxine Gosnell and Patsy Wallace.

Ruth is survived by two daughters, Diane KcKin and her husband Charles of Gurdon and Beverly Bridges and her husband Brent of Arkadelphia, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and one sister Evelyn Malberry of Springdale.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Seals and Bro. Randy Turner officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Copeland Ridge Cemetery.
