Rudolph "Rudy" Ray King, age 65, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at CHI St.  Vincent in Hot Springs.  He was born on April 23, 1956 in Elizabeth, CO, the son of the late Gerald Ray and Julia Mae King, Sr.  Rudy worked as a heavy equipment operator for Anthony Timberlands in Beirne and was a United States Air Force veteran.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Gurdon.  Rudy enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Ray King, Jr. (Bubba).

Rudy is survived by his wife, Rhonda Key King of Gurdon, two sons, Kyle King (Traci) of Arkadelphia, Flint King (Mandy) of Bismarck, two sisters, Geraldine Fair of Wickenberg, AZ and Julia Ann McNair (Jeff) of Bismarck and three grandchildren, Bradyn, Gracee and Lainee King.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Easley Cemetery with Randal Murphy officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Gurdon.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
