Roy Leon Langston, age 83, of Bismarck , passed from this life on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant.  He was born September 11, 1934 in Terrelton , OK the son of the late Roy L. and Violet M. Hackelman Langston. Roy was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a dedicated Christian and member of Bismarck Church of Christ. Roy was a retired union pipefitter and welder with local #367 for fifty five years in Anchorage , AK .  He was a private pilot, avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed traveling in his free time. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Lora Langston, two sisters, Naoma Hanks and Twila Castro.

Survivors are his wife, Karen Sue Langston of Bismarck, two daughters, Lisa Langston of Bismarck and Lacy Langston of Rogers, one son, John Grotjohn (Rochelle) of Fayetteville , one brother, Gordon Langston of Kenai , AK , one granddaughter, Evianna Grotjohn of Fayetteville, three sister in laws, Janet (John) Jendzel of Greely, CO, Liz Chandler of Malvern, Marge Henneck of Lakewood, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews .

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Bismarck Church of Christ with Russ Comeaux, Mike Copeland and Rudy Sheffield officiating.
