Roy Lee Hill, age 82, of Delight, passed from this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at his home.  He was born January 30, 1940, in Delight, the son of the late Loyd Lee and Martha Adel Lee Hill.  Roy was a 1957 graduate of Delight High School and a 1960 graduate of San Diego Jr. College.  He owned and operated Roy Hill Sand and Gravel Co.  Roy was a member of Bowen Community Church.  He enjoyed carpentry, operating heavy equipment and growing a vegetable garden.

Roy is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Janis Caroline Faulkner Hill of Delight, two sons, Roy Randal Hill (Cathy) of Nashville, and Timothy Allen Hill of Marianna, three daughters, Brenda Kay Garrard of Lonoke, Rebecca Lynn Martin (Marty) of Malvern and Carol Ann McDaniel (Earl) of Ft Worth, TX, one sister, Sandra Lillian Pilot (Dewey) of Delight, eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Pleasant Home Cemetery at Murfreesboro with Bro. Bobby Rawson officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
