Roy Gene Gibson, age 57, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at his home.  He was born August 9, 1964, in Gurdon, the son of William T. and Pauline Bean Gibson.  Roy was a self employed handyman.  He attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Gurdon.  Roy loved to tinker with anything that he thought could be fixed.  He enjoyed watching and collecting movies in his free time.  Roy was preceded in death by his mother, three brothers, David, Douglas and Delbert Gibson.

Survivors are his father, William T. Gibson of Arkadelphia, two brothers, Donald Gibson of Chidester and Dennis Gibson of Ft. Smith, two sisters, Alice Badeaux of Gurdon and Patricia Jester of Arkadelphia.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, May 9, 2022, at Rose Hill Cemetery at Sycamore with Bro. Doug Higginbotham officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Monday at Welch Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are his nephews.
