Robert Rowland Smith, age 71, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.  He was born March 8, 1948 in Portland, OR, the son of the late Rowland Addison and Roberta Peace Smith.  Robert was a retired truck driver.  He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Robert enjoyed fishing, yard work and model trucks in his free time.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ken Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Cynthia Smith of Bismarck, two sons, Christopher Smith of Portland, OR and Benjamin Smith of Boring, OR, three daughters, Wendy Counts (James) of Bismarck, Shelly Smith and Tamara Smith both of Boring, OR, one brother, Richard Smith of AZ, one sister, Susan Lanier of Tagard, OR, several grand and great grand children.

No services are planned at this time.
