Robert Paul Schee, Sr. age 64, of Whelen Springs, passed from this life on July 13, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 15, 1957, in Gurdon, the son of the late J W and Georgia Bean Schee. Robert was a 1975 graduate of Gurdon High School and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a supervisor at Anthony Timberland at Beirne. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, canoeing and woodwork in his free time. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Katie Freeman and Barbara Failla, one brother in law, Billie Freeman, one son in law, Kelly Whisenhunt and one sister in law Becky Schee.

Robert is survived by his wife Nikki Nilz Schee of Whelen, three sons, Paul Schee (Holly) of Okolona, James Schee (Sandra) of Bismarck and Jonathan Schee (Tiffany) of Bismarck, two daughters, Wendy Thrasher of Arkadelphia and Tasha Welch (Chad) of Arkadelphia, one brother, Wayne Schee of Gurdon, one sister, Shirley Martin (Bill) of Ocean Spring, MS, fourteen grandchildren, Emilee and Kacey Fritts, Gracee, Lainee, Addie, Kaisyn, Kalaia, Joshua Schee, Gabryel Wood, Courtney Ross (Keith), Trent Nolen, Dusty Whisenhunt, Lynlea Ellis and Wes Calley, and six great grandchildren, Levi Ross, Jackson, Khloe Suit, Kynlea, Leah and Clayton Ellis.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Welch Funeral Home.
