Robert "Easy" Smith, age 86, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. He was born May 10, 1929 in Rector, the son of the late Henry and Lorene Oakley Smith. Easy was retired from Rolling T Stores and was a farmer. He was a United States Army veteran and enjoyed fishing, antiquing and going to flea markets in his free time. Easy was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Freddie Smith and one infant brother, four sisters, Cedah Reynolds, Ella Nicely, Wanda Walker and one infant sister. Easy is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Walton and her husband Sam of Bismarck, Tammy Arnold and her Fiance Ricky Lane of Arkadelphia, two granddaughters, Shannon Arnold of Fordyce, Jessica Herron and her husband Jason Pausewang of Passadena, CA, one sister, Lula Mae Gladish of Paragould, two brothers, Earl Smith of Owasso, MI and James Smith of Rector. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Welch Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Williams officiating. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Clark County, P.O.
