Rickey Dean Johnson, age 53, of Hope, died on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at his home. He was born on December 20, 1953 in Prescott, the son of Lowell and Mildred Hill Johnson. Rickey worked in maintenance at a structural plywood company and attended Crossroads Assemby of God Church in Delight. He was preceded in death by his father. Rickey is survived by four sons, Aaron Johnson of Hope, Michael and Gregory Bledsoe of Hope and Adam Bledsoe of Laneburg, his mother, Mildred Johnson of Prescott, three sisters, Cynthia Usrey of Las Vegas, NV, Darlene Peterson of Bryant, and Brenda Nelson of Prescott, two brothers, Armond Johnson of Hagarville and Winston Johnson of Las Vegas, NV and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, April 20, 2007 at Delight Cemetery with Rev. Neil Ridling officiating. Family hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Prescott Assembly of God Church. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038-1132.
