Richard Michael Sanchez, age 52, of Arkadelphia, died Thursday, May 5, 2005 at the John McClellan VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born January 21, 1953 in Houston, TX, the son of Joe P. and Margie Bollen Sanchez. He was semi-retired and worked as a maintenance supervisor for Holiday Inn. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Jimmy Sanchez and one sister, Lola Smith Garcia. Survivors are his mother, Margie Bollen Sanchez of Arkadelphia, his wife, Debra Marie Trusty Sanchez of Arkadelphia, his brothers, Modesta Sanchez of Flatonio, TX, Howard Smith and his wife, Linda of Cosby, TX, Joe Henry Sanchez of Houston, TX, his sister, Bonnie Serano and her husband, Roy of Houston, TX and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, May 8, 2005 in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home, 202 South 4th St. Arkadelphia with Robert Hyman officiating.
