Reta Virginia Williams, age 85, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life Monday, January 31, 2022, at her home.  She was born January 30, 1937, in Alpine, the daughter of the late Al and Cornelia Still Wilson.  Reta was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School.  She worked at Hollywood Vassarette and Harvest Foods for many years.  Reta was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church.  She enjoyed singing and gardening in her free time.  Reta was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Doise and Roddie Wilson and one sister, Wanda Holmes.

Survivors are her husband of sixty-six years, Roy Joe Williams of Arkadelphia, two daughters, Jeanne Bobo of Russellville and Julie Woolf of Arkadelphia, one brother, Billy Joe Wilson (Mayetta) of Nashville, two grandchildren, Jack Woolf and Jesi Childres (Buck), four great grandchildren, Kadyn Bobo, Courtney Woolf, Brinley Childres and Ethan Childres.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 7, 2022, at Mt Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Ray Franklin officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Welch Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Mt Zion Baptist Church.
