Rebecca Jane Hughes, age 75, of Amity, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 near Alpine.  She was born July 1, 1944 in Janesville, WI, the daughter of the late Phillip and Mary Strickland  Resse. Rebecca worked at Walgreen's and stocked the Hallmark cards.  She was a member of First Apostolic Faith Church in Amity. Rebecca loved to grow plants and spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Judy Cash.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Bill Hughes, one son Timothy Hughes (Michelle) of McKinney, TX, two daughters, Sherry Hughes of Hot Springs and Susan Barnett (Stephen) of Hot Springs, one grandson Kellun Barnett, one brother, Tom Reese of Sandusky, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday September 9, 2019 at First Apostolic Faith Church with Bro JB Yelverton and Bro Dennis Anderson officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Interment will be in Brushy Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Frank Adcock, Kellun Barnett, Aubrey Dycus, Roy Fendley, Keith Morris and Mark Sorrell.
