Reba Lynn Golden Perkins, age 78, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born in Hughes Springs , Texas on December 6, 1937 , the daughter of the late Taft and Mildred Lumpkins Golden. Reba was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Perkins, her grandson, Philip Scott Perkins, and mother and father in law, Scott and Lula Perkins.

Reba is survived by three sons, Ricky Perkins (Sheila) of Gurdon, Rodney Perkins (Pam) of Paron and Ramsey Perkins (Malissa) of Gurdon, two brothers, Ronnie Golden (Ann) and Steven Golden (Barbie), all of Hughes Springs, TX, five sisters, Jean Duffy (Willard) of Ore City, TX, Joyce Black (Richard), Johnie Chunn, Sue McDaniel (Douglas) and Teresa Bradley (Charlie) all of Hughes Springs, TX, six grandchildren, Samantha Boone (Kenneth), Clint Perkins (Misty), Jennifer Satterfield (Blake), Lindsey Nesselrotte (Steven), Blake Perkins and Kavan Perkins, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Beirne Baptist Church with James Blackwood officiating.

Interment will be at Rose Hedge Cemetery in Gurdon.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Clint, Blake and Kavan Perkins, Blake and Gage Satterfield and Steven Nesselrotte.
