Raymond Oliver Gould Jr., age 74, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.  He was born May 12, 1944 in Brooklyn , NY , the son of the late Raymond Oliver and Janet Baylor Gould Sr.  Raymond was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church .  He was a United States Air Force veteran and retired after thirty-five years from the public service commission.  Raymond was a private pilot and enjoyed flying, working and building airplanes.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Lonnie Ruth Simpson Gould of Arkadelphia, two sons, Raymond Gould and his wife Cheryl of Hemet, CA and Christopher Gould of Dallas , TX , two sisters, Janet Hargrove of Queens , NY and Louise Watson of Richmond , VA , three grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Oliver and Genesis Gould.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 28, 2018 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Arkadelphia with Revs. Ronnie Govan and T.W. Scott officiating.

Interment will be in Vaden Cemetery with Military Honors by the Little Rock Air Force Honor Guard .
