Peggy Jean Shepherd, age 86, of Arkadelphia passed from this life on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at CHI St. Vincent's in Hot Springs. She was born on October 6, 1933 in Antoine, Arkansas the daughter of the late Milton and Josie Huff Morris. Peggy worked for many years at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed collecting and attending garage sales in her free time. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, husband A. O. Shepherd, two brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Shepherd of Arkadelphia and Stacy Shepherd of Poyen, two grandchildren, Shawnee Shepherd of Bismarck and Colin Shepherd (Natalie) of Arkadelphia, and one great grandchild, Easton.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Welch Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Cato officiating.
