Peggy Lorene Edington, age 70, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, December 24, 2021, at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock.  She was born June 25, 1951, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late Collis Jewell and Ruth Lorene Clements Francis.  Peggy was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School and attended OBU.  She was a former vet assistant at Waymack Animal Hospital.  Peggy attended New Life Church and Baring Cross Church during her life.  She enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls, light houses and what nots.  Peggy's favorite times were spent with her friends, children and family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Donald Edington.

Peggy is survived by her four sons, Donny Edington (Pakath Say Vongsa) of Arkoma, OK, Jason Edington (Michael Davis) of Arkadelphia, Erik Edington (Natasha Goza) of Arkadelphia and Jeffery Edington (Allison) of Arkadelphia, one brother, Jewell Francis (Mary) of Sulphur, OK, one sister, Cyndia Dunne (Steve) of Arkadelphia, seven grandchildren, Aubrey, Austin, Payton, Nicholas, Breanna, Keely and Jensen Edington, and one great grandchild, Cataleya Almanza.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 30, 2021, at New Life Church with Pastor Martin Jones and Bro. Ronnie Hardin officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday at New Life Church.

Interment will be in Golden Cemetery.
