Paul Edward Todd, 49, of Tyler, Texas formerly of Arkadelphia, died Friday October 24, 2014. He was born December 24, 1965, the son of Robert Todd and Sarah Shirley Todd, and step-son of Norma Todd. He was a graduate of Arkadelphia Senior High School in 1984, received an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from Tyler Junior College in 2008, and was pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree from Walden University. He was an outstanding student at Tyler Junior College, having been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society and Sigma Kappa Delta National English Honor society in 2008. He was a faithful employee of Tyler Junior College for five years, beginning as a part-time media assistant in 2009, then advancing to full-time media distribution technicians and then being promoted to specialist. He is survived by his father, Robert Todd of Arkadelphia; his mother Sarah Crowder of Georgia; step-mother, Norma Todd of Arkadelphia; one brother Gregg Todd of Arkadelphia; one sister, Stephanie Todd of Arkadelphia; an aunt, Pat Reece, of Greenbriar, AR; three nieces; Jessica Hope Smith, Carolyn Marie Smith, and Shay Isabelle Smith, all of Arkadelphia; as well as several cousins. There will be a memorial service Saturday, January 31, at 11:30 am at Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church.
