Patsy Lou Gentle Overton, age 57, of Lees Summit, Missouri, died on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at her home. Patsy was born December 21, 1948, in Gurdon, AR, the daughter of the late William Wesley and Evia Barrong Gentle. Patsy was an electronic technician and a member of First Baptist Church in Lees Summit. Patsy is survived by her husband, Charles Overton, one son, Thomas Bryan Earnest of Benton, AR., one step daughter, Melanie Johannes of Raymore, MO., two brothers, Charlie Gentle of Arkadelphia and J. W. (Bill) Gentle of Naples, FL. Three sisters, Peggy Gentle Palmere & Betty Gentle Taylor of Arkadelphia and Wanda Gentle Welch of Hollywood, and four step grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, June 5, 2006 at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Rev. Dwight Craig officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Roy Taylor, Byron Taylor, BJ Taylor, Eddie Gentle, Steve Staples, and Mike Thomason. Family hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday.
