Norma Jean Todd, age 71, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at her home.  She was born June 27, 1949, in West Memphis, the daughter of the late John E. and Sammie Jo Carlton Powers.  Norma was a 1967 graduate of West Memphis High School.  She taught computer lab at Peake Elementary School for many years.  Norma was a member of Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading, brain games and crossword puzzles in her free time.  Norma was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Paul Edward Todd and one brother, Johnny Powers.

Survivors are her husband, Robert Todd of Arkadelphia, one son, Gregory Allen Todd of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Stephanie Ann Todd of Benton, one brother, James Powers of Paris, AR, three sisters, Linda Johnson (Gene) of Cabot, Cindy Patton (Al) of Proctor and Ginny Webb (John) of Memphis, TN, three grandchildren, Jessica Hope Smith of Arkadelphia, Shay Isabel Smith of Maumelle and Carolyn Marie Smith of Conway.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 18, 2021, at Hart's Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be private.
