Myrtle E. (Tate) Kennedy, age 93, of Arkadelphia died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on January 21, 1913 in Dalark, the daughter of the late Jesse and Maggie Kitchens Reynolds. Myrtle was a homemaker and a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland Tate, her second husband, Pete Kennedy, and her daughter, Sandra Hardaway. Myrtle is survived by one granddaughter, Rowena Hardaway of Houston, Texas, one sister, Daphne Reynolds Wood of Arkadelphia and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at Welch Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Burks officiating. Interment will be in Delamar Cemetery. Family hours are 6 to 8 PM Monday.
