Robert Michael Browning, 57, was born on June 16, 1956 in Gurdon, AR. He went to be with his Lord on February 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Browning, paternal grandparents, Robert Oscar Browning, Sr. and Jewelle Richardson Browning Johnson, maternal grandparents, James Irvin Ingram and Marie Byrns Ingram, and his aunt, Bonnie Parmley. He is survived by his mother, Johnnie Ingram Browning Thompson, his step-father, Bob Thompson, his sister, Sandra Browning Ezell (Bill), one nephew, LB Ezell and his wife, Christine, his aunt Martha Ingram Verhalen Feille (Keith), first cousins, Natalie, Jennifer, Rachel, Stephen III and Eric and Brian Parmley and special friend, Steve Verhalen II. Mike was a Doctor of Chiropractic and in his last years he enjoyed using his education for helping people, which was the thing he wanted most to do. Before Mike reached the point of helping like he loved to do, he was a chemical engineer for Dow Chemical in Houston and a petroleum engineer for Petro Co. in Louisiana. He worked for Alltel, then Axium as a computer engineer before deciding to stay in Texas and be a chiropractor. Mike started out to be a medical doctor and was in school when he lost a friend to a brain tumor; he decided he couldn't handle that part of it very well and went on to all these other things while he attended Henderson State University, University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Texas A&M, University of Texas in Dallas, University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Texas School of Chiropractic. He could speak with the highest educated on their level and at the same time talk to someone on any level where they could understand. Growing up Mike enjoyed many activities. He loved horses and became a very skilled equestrian, earning many ribbons and trophies. He also enjoyed water sports, swimming, water skiing, and boating. He loved being around the water whether it was one of our lakes or the ocean. Mike enjoyed quail hunting and skeet shooting until he could no longer indulge in these activities due to his health. A memorial service for Mike will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 7, 2014 at Berachah Church, 2815 Sage Road, Houston TX 77056, with Rev. Charles E. Gossett officiating.
