Marylyn Denise Chapman, age 64, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, December 11, 2017 at her home.  She was born April 7, 1953 in Freeport , TX , the daughter of the late Nickels and Thelma Matthews Shobert.  Dee Dee was a homemaker and enjoyed art.  She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church .  Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Tylin Paige Hertel.

Survivors are two sons, Gene Hertel (Billie Jo) of Chesterfield, VA and Shawn Hertel of Great Falls, MT, two grandchildren, Kaylee Marie Hertel and Tyler Eugene Hertel both of Virginia, three sisters, Theresa Alfonso of Arkadelphia, Kim Copeland (Steve) of Port Mohave, AZ and Anita Lage of Spokane , WA.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2017 at Park Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Seals officiating.
