Mary Alice Spakes, age 76, of Benton, formerly of Bradley, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Saline Memorial Hospice in Benton.  She was born August 24, 1944, in Hope, the daughter of the late Donald and Ola Jester Milloway.  Mary Alice was a 1961 graduate of Bradley High School.  She was a retired manager and teller at Fordyce Bank and Trust.  Mary Alice was a member of New Life Baptist Church and the Seniors Sunday School Class in Alexander.  She enjoyed shopping, swapping recipes with friends, flower gardening, feeding and watching birds in her free time.  Mary Alice was preceded  in death by her parents, her step father, Jeff Cothren, one brother, Jerry "Don" Milloway and one nephew, Monty Milloway.

Survivors are her husband William "Dale" Spakes of Benton, one son, Scott Spakes (Melinda) of Benton and one granddaughter, Sarah Spakes of Benton.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 12, 2021, at Center Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Sid Samples officiating.

No visitation is planned.
