Mary Ann Louise Jones, age 81, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on October 4, 1932 in Hot Springs, the daughter of the late Jesse and Susie Roberson Pierce. Mary was a CNA for Riverwood Nursing Home and Hillcrest Nursing Home in Prescott. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jones, and her daughter, Mary Darlene Golden. Mary is survived by two daughters, Sharon (James) West of Gurdon and Carla (Bobby) Crain of Antoine, her son, Larry (Brigette) Jones of Gibson, LA, her sister, Lorene Smoke of Mt. Ida, ten grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia, with James McCain officiating. Interment will be in Southfork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Terry and Casey McNabb, Trey and Terry Golden, Nick Franklin and Kurk Howell.
