Mary Frances Allen, age 99, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs. She was born on September 16, 1914 in Leonard, TX, the daughter of the late Robert Francis and Alta Mae Felty. Mary worked for Heards Drug Store and Arkadelphia Country Club and was a foster grandparent at Central and Perritt schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Frazier Allen, her son, Barry Allen, two brothers, Otis and Paul Felty, and one sister, Aileen McClardy. Mary is survived by her daughter, Susan Allen of Caddo Valley, her son, Steve Allen of Bismarck, five grandchildren, Liberty Allen of Plano, TX, Christopher (Aimee) Allen of Bryant, Cole Allen of Stamps, Jamaica Allen of Arkadelphia and Jinny Allen of Texarkana, four great grandchildren, Justice, Sara, Makayla and Gracie Allen and close friends, Wanda Francis, Jimmie Sue Whitson and Romanetha Terry.
