Margret Marie Mitchell Brown, age 67, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at CHI St. Vincent's Infirmary in Hot Springs. She was born September 16, 1947, in Marble Falls, TX, the daughter of the late Owen Joseph and Viola Mae Dry Mitchell. Margret was a home health care giver and a member of Arkadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lee Brown. Margret is survived by two daughters, Vanessa (Jim) Riley of Gurdon, and Shondra Brown of Harrison, two step sons, Stoney Cox of Marshall, and Michael (Kathy) Cox of Edmond, OK, one brother, Milton Mitchell of Harrison, one sister, Marsha Dearen of Kingsland, TX, fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Arkadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church, 429 South Wood Road, Arkadelphia, AR 71923, with Pastor Carroll Grayval officiating.
