Grace Lucille Francis-McDade, age 76, of Malvern, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock .  She was born June 18, 1942 in Okolona , the daughter of the late Horace and Grace Smithpeters Smith.  Lucille worked at Levi's, Wal-Mart and she had a restaurant in Curtis for many years.  She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.  Lucille enjoyed reading, western movies and dancing in her free time.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Ross Francis, her son, Wayne Francis and four brothers.

Lucille is survived by her husband, John Thomas McDade of Malvern, her grandson, Seth Francis of Fayetteville , one step daughter, Derenda Burns (Jay) of Malvern, three stepsons, Thomas McDade (Linda) of Malvern, Wayne McDade (Marilyn) of Bryant, and James Chase of Malvern, several step grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 16, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Ivey officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Southfork Cemetery .
