Louise Devers, age 75, of Texarkana, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at St. Michaels Health Care Center in Texarkana. She was born December 14, 1932, in Gun Town, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Archie Cleeander & Fannie Irene Blackwell Rider. Louise was a former receptionist for the Randall Corporation, a member of Home Extension Club, a Mary Kay Associate and a member of New Life Church in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Thurman Earl Jones & Robert Chester Devers, and one brother Allen Rider.

Louise is survived by two sons, Larry Jones & his wife Pam of Texarkana, AR., Rev. Martin Jones & his wife Jana of Arkadelphia. Two sisters, Juanita Rider of Lepanto, AR & Vera Peters & her husband Eugene of Concord, NC. Three brothers, Maurice Rider of Lepanto, AR., Harvey Rider & his wife Margie of Fullerton, CA., Travis Rider & his wife Janice of Tulsa, OK. Nine grandchildren & two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, at New Life Church with Pastor Steve Willingham & Rev. David Smith officiating.

Interment will be at 3:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville by Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.

Family hours are 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
