Lola Virginia Chandler, age 94, of Arkadelphia died on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Twin Rivers Health & Rehab in Arkadelphia. She was born on July 19, 1912 in Nashville, AR, the daughter of the late George and Rosie Wagner Jeanes. Lola was a homemaker and a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jeff Driskell and Gus Chandler, one daughter, Mary Sue Driskell, one grandson, Jeff Croy, four brothers and two sisters. Lola is survived by one daughter, Georgia Croy and her husband John of Arkadelphia, two brothers, RC Jeanes of Beeville, TX and BJ Jeanes of Tempe, AZ, one grandchild, Tammy Arnold-Dierks, and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at County Line Cemetery in Nashville, AR with Rev. Ronnie Hardin officiating. (The family requests casual attire.) Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Ralph Stroud, Clarence Dallas, Joe Dallas, Lynn Lawrence, Dewayne Stone and Chris Gilbert.
