Lois Marguerite McClure, age 74, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on May 8, 1936 in Clark County, the daughter of the late J. N. and Berniece Haskins Webb. Lois was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and her grandson, Brian. Lois is survived by her husband, Thurman McClure of Gurdon, one daughter, Brenda (Mark) McCain of Prescott, one son, Dennis (Ann) McClure of Gurdon, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Easley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Robert Becker, Jason Taylor, Shane Launius, Butch Gray, Stephen Pennington, Cody McClure, Carl Davis and Rodney Williams.
