Linda Gayle Hogue, age 65, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at her home.  She was born October 19, 1955, in Gurdon, the daughter of the late O.D. and Viola Scott Horne, Jr.  Linda was a 1973 graduate of Gurdon High School and a 1977 graduate of Henderson State University.  She retired from Cabe Middle School as a secretary.  Linda was a member of Beech Street Baptist Church.  She enjoyed doing wood burning in her free time.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Wendell Horne and one brother in law, Larry Hogue.

Survivors are her husband, Jimmy Hogue of Gurdon, one daughter, Whitney Lincoln (Graham) of Huntersville, NC, one son, Jessie Hogue of Gurdon, two brothers, Freddie Horne (Sharon) of Nashville, brother in law, Charles Hogue (Kay), sister in law, Judy Horne, and two grandchildren, Henry and Amelia Lincoln of Huntersville, NC.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Rose Hedge Cemetery at Gurdon with Bro. David Graves and Bro. Jeremy Bell officiating.

No visitation is planned.

Memorials may be made to Cabe Middle School Library or Beech Street Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Gattis, Roy Wilson, Johnny Horne, Scott Horne, Gary Griffin and Jerel White.
