Leva Dene Hardage, age 84 of Bismarck, passed from this life on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Southern Hills Green House Cottages in Rison. She was born on August 18, 1930 in Jackson, Ms, the daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel Wilson McClard. Leva was retired from Whitehouse Manufacturing where she was a binder. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and reading. Leva was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Adolphe Hardage and two sisters, Bonnie Hixon and Faye Gillham. Leva is survived by two daughters, Rita (Alan) Ashcraft of Pine Bluff and Tina (Bruce) Thornton of Bismarck, two brothers Clifford McClard of Bismarck and Marlin (Ruth) McClard of New DeRoche, three grandchildren, Brittany (John) Clement of Bismarck, Tyler (Whitney) Thornton of Bismarck, and Ethny Ashcraft of Pine Bluff, and three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Clement, Reid Clement and Arlee Thornton all of Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Morrison officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Randy McClard, David McClard, Mark McClard, Charlie Morris, Chris Hoskins and Ryan Thornton. Interment will be in New Bismarck Cemetery.
